The Caribbean answer to the Irish creams, darker and a little less sweet, closer to the Demerara house style than to anything from Dublin."}]}]}
How it tastes

The nose is cream, cocoa, brown sugar, a faint coffee note. The palate is rich and rounded: cocoa first, then the warm Demerara molasses, then the cream settling it down, less syrupy than most cream liqueurs. A long finish, the rum lingering after the cream clears. Creamy but not heavy.
