Roasted malt, dark chocolate, a sweet middle. The federation's black-bottle stout.
The recipe came from Walters' brewery in Port of Spain in 1952 and Carib reworked it to the 6.6 percent it pours at now. Brewed at Buckley's Site in Basseterre, it is sweeter and fuller than an Irish dry stout, and proud of it.
