Dried fig, sweet sherry, almond. The Guatemalan solera.
Botran ages its rums in a solera system in the highlands of Quetzaltenango. A pyramid of barrels where the oldest rum is fractionally drawn from the bottom and replaced with younger rum from above, the way Spanish sherry is aged. The 18 is the house's mid-range solera blend.
750ml. 40% ABV. Neat. Best after a long meal.
