Mount Gay is the oldest still-operating rum distillery in the world. Barbadian, established 1703. The Black Barrel takes Mount Gay's standard blended rum and finishes it in heavily charred ex-bourbon casks. The result drinks darker and smokier than the house's lighter expressions.
